Imagine your social occasion on a delightful cruise right through the heart of downtown Austin, Texas aboard the Lone Star Riverboat. Private charters are available year-round for groups of 30 to 150 people.
Private Charter Fare and Information (without catering)
Minimum number of people: 30
Maximum number of people: 150
(15% gratuity will be added-more at your discretion)
- $18.00 per person (30 - 80 people) + 8.25% state sales tax
- $16.00 per person (81 - 150 people) + 8.25% state sales tax
- Children 2 and under are no charge
- Two hour charter time (plus 30 minutes prior to departure for boarding)
- $200 for a third hour (may be broken into 1/2hr. increments)
- Catering and beverage service may be arranged at an additional cost (see below)
- Charges are for the number of people guaranteed or on a per person basis, whichever is greater.

DINNER MENUS

Listed are a few favorites, but custom menus can be arranged. All meals on board the Lone Star Riverboat are served buffet style. We ask for menu selection at least two weeks in advance and a final attendance guarantee three days prior to your charter. There is a 30 person minimum required for catering. Catering charges are for the number of persons guaranteed or on a per person basis, whichever is greater. State sales tax of 8.25% will also be added to the menu choice.
BBQ
Beef Brisket, Chicken, Sausage
(Choose two of the three meats)
Served w/ homemade bbq sauce, pinto beans, potato salad, cole slaw, pickles, onions, bread, cookies, and iced tea $16.00 per person
If you prefer to have all three meats, the cost is $17.50 per person
Beef or Pork ribs are available for an additional $3.00 per person
Fajitas
Smoked Chicken & Beef
Served w/borracho beans, Mexican rice, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, sour cream, salsa, tortilla chips, and iced tea $16.00 per person
Smoked Chicken Breast
Served w/ baked potato casserole, broccoli salad or tossed green salad (both tossed in a vinaigrette dressing), rolls, butter, and iced tea $16.00 per person
Appetizer Menus
Appetizer menus are $14.00 per person + 8.25% sales tax and a 15% gratuity. There is a 30 person minimum. Add tea & Ice for $2.00 per person.
Menu #1:
Mesquite-smoked chicken fajitas served with 4” tortillas, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and salsa
Vegetable tray: broccoli, carrot & celery sticks, tomato wedges, cucumbers, and cherry peppers (served with Ranch dip)
Seven-layer dip & chili con queso (served with tortilla chips)
Menu #2:
Meat tray: sliced turkey & roast beef (served w/mini white & wheat buns & mayo/mustard)
Cheese tray: sliced cheddar & Swiss
Fresh fruit tray: cantaloupe, honeydew melon, strawberries or grapes, watermelon, and pineapple (all fruits are according to season)
Vegetable tray: broccoli, carrot & celery sticks, tomatoes wedges, cucumbers, and cherry peppers (served with Ranch dip)
Seven-layer dip & chili con queso (served with tortilla chips)
There could be additional fees depending upon the service and amount of additional time needed. Any outside catering service is subject to approval by the Lone Star Riverboat management and will have to provide a certificate of insurance to us.
All menus above come with heavy divided chinet paper plates, plastic ware, napkins and cups. Everything you need!
In order for you to furnish your own catering there will be a $100 fee.
Bar Service (Four Options)
Option # 1 - We can provide a cash or open/hosted non-alcoholic bar. No set-up fee or minimum. We offer soft drinks, juices, bottled water and mixers.
- Soft Drinks: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite $1.50
- Water: Bottled Water, Tonic, Club Soda $1.50
- Juices: Cranberry, O.J., Grapefruit $2.00
- Mixers: Margarita, Bloody Mary, Sweet & Sour $2.00
Option # 2 - You bring any liquor bottles, wine and or beer. We will provide ice chest, ice, cups, limes, unlimited soft drinks, juices, bottled water, mixers and a TABC Certified Bartender to serve your drinks to your group. This service is $5.00 per person.
Option # 3 - You bring EVERYTHING: any beverages, ice chest, ice, cups, mixers, limes, bottle & wine openers, etc. No glass beer bottles. Aluminum cans only PLEASE. No charge.
Option # 4 - You can hire an outside bar service to set-up a cash or open/hosted bar on our boat for your group. The service must supply us with a copy of liability insurance and use TABC Certified bartenders. We can provide a list of approved bar service vendors if you need help with this service. $50 carry-on fee.
Margarita Machines are not allowed unless you provide a generator or batteries to power the machine.

(sold by the pan: one size: approx. one gallon per pan: feeds ~45 people: 1oz serving)
Lettuce & Tomato - $1.50 per person
Miscellaneous:
Table Linens (usual # 15) - $10.00 per TABLE (tables are 30 inches diameter/may use 54-inch square cloth—goes to floor—blue or white)
To remove tables - $40.00 flat fee (NO CHARGE for School Dances and Weddings)
Stem Ware - $3.00 per person.
Premium Disposable set-up - $3.00 per person (Clear plastic plates, Clear plastic forks & knives rolled in disposable white napkins)
Premium Non-Disposable set-up - $10.00 per person (White china or blue tin plates, Stainless forks & knives rolled in white cloth napkins)
